The Remit

Work with a team of specialist analysts, designers, developers and testers to deliver a system to handle all aspects of a Utilities Billing requirement, including Customer Details, Bill Generation, Payment Processing, Arrears and Collections, Trend Analysis.

The Solution Outline

• Designed Data Model, employing Oracle's CDM using their Designer Tool to capture requirements.
• Model the system in Desinger and produced the ERD.
• Transformed ERD to PDM .
• Used Designer and HeadStart to achieve 100% generation of Oracle Forms for the front end which needed to be fast and easy to use in a demanding Call centre environment.
• Later on adapt to enable integration with a web based online gas and electricity sales site.

Further Information

The system delivered proved to be a flexible sales legder billing system that the client was able to use to service their other partners.
